ANDRE MATOS: ELOY CASAGRANDE REMAINS IN THE BAND

After the announcement that drummer Eloy Casagrande joins the group Gloria, the musician confirmed that he doesn´t leave the band of André Matos: „Gloria asked me about work stuff, and I immediately spoke to André, who was in Europe, I told him I was starting to work with Gloria, but will surely continue to develop my career together with his solo group. André´s band is above all one family for me, where I keep growing, and it´s great honour for me to be their member. I´m very glad about support and consideration of all.“

The singer and leader of the band confirms on his part that Eloy remains the drummer: „I can understand that Eloy has the need of career at the moment, and we will free him from some coming performances. The contract won´t be exclusive. Besides recording another album with us, Eloy will continue to play live whenever the dates are confirmed. 

André Matos remembers his first meeting the drummer: „We bet on Eloy´s talent from the beginning. He joined the band when he was only 16, and we have created a strong bond during these years, both personal and musical. We still have something to develop.“

The substitute drummer was Rodrigo Silveira: „Rodrigo was our first choice among some others before Eloy did the last competition. He´s a drummer musically very technical and excellent. He´s hard to replace simply: he really brings great experience into these new performances“, the singer added.
